Scholarship for excellent 1st year Berlage Institute participants who want to be in the 2nd year postgraduate program at the Berlage Institute.

Eligible candidates:
Excellent 1st. year Berlage Institute participants who will be admitted to the 2nd year. Proficient in English.
Value and purpose of grant : 5 scholarships of € 10.000 each

Applications must include:
- application form

Selection procedure:
Once the Berlage Institute has received the complete application, the applicant will receive a confirmation by email. The applications will be assessed by an international selection committee composed of Berlage Institute staff members and external critics.

2012 Harley-Davidson 10th Anniversary Edition V-Rod Review

I distinctly recall the first time I saw Harley-Davidson’s V-Rod. With its long, low and slender profile, silvery paint from tip to tail and an eye-catching aluminum solid front wheel it was hard to miss, even in a crowded parking lot.
It seems like only a couple years ago I first gazed upon this Harley, but folks, the reality is that 10 years have passed since the tradition-busting V-Rod first rolled into the Harley lineup. Ten years! To mark the ‘Rod’s notable birthday Harley has created a 10th Anniversary Edition V-Rod as part of the company’s 2012 model lineup. The 10th joins the Night Rod Special and Muscle, making the VRSC series a family of three for this year.

Gempa di Pakpak Bharat Sumut Timbulkan Kerugian Rp 43,3 M

Medan - Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Pakpak Bharat, Sumatera Utara (Sumut), masih melakukan pendataan kerusakan akibat gempa. Perhitungan sementara gempa tersebut menimbulkan kerugian senilai Rp 43,3 miliar.

Kepala Bagian Humas Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Pakpak Bharat, Kastro Manik menyatakan, kerusakan terparah adalah fasilitas pemerintahan dan fasilitas umum. Selain rumah penduduk juga banyak yang rubuh.

"Untuk sementara penilaian kita, angka kerugian seperti itu, tapi pendataan masih dilakukan," kata Manik pada wartawan di Salak, ibukota Pakpak Bharat, Rabu (7/9/2011).

Disebutkan Manik, fasilitas yang rusak itu antara lain, gedung DPRD, rumah sakit, fasilitas ibadah serta sejumlah sekolah. Selain itu kerusakan juga terjadi pada rumah dinas bupati.

Golf Driving Range, tempat latihan membungkuk?

Dipastikan pegolf pernah menggunakan Driving Range karena disanalah tempat pegolf berlatih baik untuk practising (dari mulai belajar memukul bola, berlatih mengarahkan bola sampai untuk mencoba Golf Club yg baru). Pada berbagai Driving Range (yang banyak tersebar dimana-mana) kini sudah jarang ditemui Driving Bay yang masih dilengkapi alat untuk menaruh bola pada Tee. Mungkin karena memang tidak ada ataupun sudah rusak. Tee adalah suatu plastik kecil yang berguna untuk menyangga bola agar dapat melayang diatas permukaan sehingga dapat mudah dipukul saat Teeing Off (pukulan awal).  Apabila kita berlatih menggunakan Wood 3 keatas atau Iron umumnya tidak membutuhkan Tee tetapi seperti kita ketahui bahwa bila kita berlatih menggunakan Driver (atau Wood 1) atau bagi para pemula dalam menggunakan Iron sekalipun maka maka Tee tetap diperlukan.
